Biography
Maryna Averkyna ia a professor at Lviv Polytechnic National University, senior research fellow at the Estonian Business School. She graduated from National University of Water Management and Natural Resourses Use in 2006 with a degree in economy of enterprises, and defended her candidate’s thesis in economy and rational resourses use at Faculty of Economy of Natinal University of Water Management and Natural Resourses Use in 2011. In 2016 she received doctor of economic science degree at Lutsk Technical National Univercity. In 2023 she received doctor of philisophy in management degree at Estonian Business School. She was a lecturer at National University of Water Management and Natural Resource Use, Academy of Recreational Technologies and Law, Lutsk Institute of Human Development University “Ukraine”, professor at the National University “Ostroh academy” and was a visiting professor at Lugansk National University, University “KROK”. She has received her 2014 associate professor certificate, 2018-professor certificate. She is interested in economic and ecological safety, maintenance urban sustainable development, textual data analyses.
She took part at a project “Strategy of sustainable development of Netishyn till 2030” for the Department “Local Development Agency” (Netishyn, Khmelnytsky region).
She took part in the scientific research work on the subject “Grounds for the feasibility of greening the roofs of administrative premises of the industrial enterprise in order to ensure sustainable urban development” (Contract No. 217-NN of 02.10.2012), Volyn-Cement PJSC. The author’s contribution is to substantiate the economic expediency of arranging a roof of “green roof’ type over the office of PJSC “Volyn-Cement”.
She participated in R&D project on change management Ukraine which was funded by Estonian Development Agency (contract number 83-2021-A).
She has taken part as a lecturer in the course “Leading Organizational Change in an Unpredictable Environment” for Ukrainians which was funded by Estonian Development Agency.
She is an external expert of The National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) in Ukraine.
