Biography
Throughout my career, I have embraced challenges across a variety of fields, including roles as a technical expert at the Association of Local Authorities of Ida-Viru County, the Strategy Center of the Tallinn City Government, and as the MLRA/AML company Complium. I have also served as the lead project manager for the development of Estonia’s eastern border at the Police and Border Guard Board, and as a project manager at Tallinn University of Technology, among other positions.
My long-term service as Deputy Secretary General at the Estonian Ministry of Defense and as a specialist diplomat at the Estonian Mission to NATO, combined with academic research, has equipped me with strong communication skills and the ability to work successfully in diverse multicultural environments.
These experiences have given me the expertise to manage people, processes, and financial resources programmatically, and to facilitate cooperation among specialized institutions. I have developed a systematic approach to economic processes, teamwork, and the skills to launch new projects and initiatives. My experience and academic study have strengthened my abilities in process and change management. Over the years, leading processes and change in various fields has enabled me to see the big picture, create visions, and guide teams to bring those visions to life through effective communication and understanding.
